Device for ozonetherapy ATO-3The ATO-3 series devices are designed for using ozone-oxygen mixture in medical treatment. As a working medium, medical oxygen in pressure cylinders is used. Devices allows for providing all known treatments in ozone therapy.
Ozon is used in medicine because of its strong bactericidal, fungicidal and protozoonicidal properties, also because of its oxidative and catalityc influence on blood and tissue. Ozone injected directly into blood changes its reology and gives an effect of increasing microcirculation.
Ozone distributed into blood, tissue or into body cavities is very effective in:
- gas gangrene
- fistulas
- bones infections
- thoracic empyemas
- infections around endoprosthesis
- infectious complications of diabetic foot
- inflammatory and ulceration of large intestine
