METRUM CRYOFLEX Sp. z o.o. na podstawie Umowy o dofinansowanie projektu nr FENG.01.01-IP.02-4165/23 z dnia 19.11.2024r. realizuje Projekt pt.: "Innovative technology for manufacturing cryosurgical probes to increase the availability of solutions for safe pain relief for patients without the use of opioid drugs" as part of the SMART Path Action, the European Funds for a Modern Economy Programme, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
The main objective of the project is to develop an innovative, automated technology for manufacturing advanced disposable cryosurgical probes in order to increase their quality, functionality and safety, as well as to achieve higher process efficiency.
The primary goal of the project is to improve the comfort and quality of life of patients by providing advanced solutions that will effectively and quickly reduce the sensation of pain in a permanent manner, while facilitating the treatment and recovery process, reducing the risk of serious complications, as well as enabling a faster return to normal life and social and professional activity, without the need for the permanent use of strong painkillers (including opioids).
The planned research work aims to develop an automated method for welding, calibration and repeatability assessment of probes. This will have an impact on:
– standardization of production, in particular achieving a high degree of repeatability,
– reducing the number of deficiencies occurring in the process,
– increasing process efficiency,
– cost reduction.
As a result, the cryoanalgesia method will become more available on the market as a minimally invasive pain management procedure with high efficacy and a high level of patient safety. Through partial automation of the probe manufacturing process and intraoperative quality control, the quality of life of patients will be improved.

Celem Projektu było opracowanie innowacji produktowej w drodze prac B+R, w wyniku których powstało znacząco ulepszone urządzenie medyczne do terapii ozonem, pozwalające na bezpieczne, precyzyjne i skuteczne wspomaganie terapii COVID-19 poprzez m.in.: MAHT, dezynfekcja gazowa, produkcja wody ozonowanej. Urządzenie bazuje na innowacyjnej w skali świata technologii (generatorze wykorzystującym wirującą elektrodę) w celu sprostania oczekiwaniom świata medycznego w Polsce oraz za granicą.
