Our cryoanalgesia devices

CRYO-S Painless
in postoperative pain

The most technologically advanced
device for cryoanalgesia.

No more strong painkillers

Since 1992, we have been providing technologies for medicine that enable the implementation of surgical procedures that allow people to recover and function normally in society.

Benefits of cryoanalgesia

Significant pain reduction for as long as it is expected.
Cessation or significant reduction of opioids intake during the postoperative and recovery period.
Possibility of resigning from epidural anesthesia.
Shorter patient catheterization and shorter drainage.
Faster verticalization and pulmonary and motor rehabilitation.
Reducing the risk of postoperative pain turning into chronic pain.
Shortening the patient's hospital stay.

Clinical use

Intraoperative intercostal nerve cryoanalgesia for thoracic deformity repairs in adolescents and adults (NUSS, Ravitch, pectus excavatum, complex thoracic deformities).
Intraoperative cryoanalgesia in thoracic surgery from thoracoscopic approach and thoracotomy (lobectomy, segmentectomy, resection).
Intraoperative cryoanalgesia in cardiosurgery procedures from thoracoscopic approach and thoracotomy (MIDCAB, mitral valve replacement).
Intraoperative thoracic wall cryoanalgesia in traumatology (rib fractures, sternum fractures, multiple organ injuries).
Ultrasound-guided percutaneous cryoanalgesia of the intercostal nerves.
Chest wall pain with a number of conditions, including neuromas after thoracotomy, mastectomy, persistent pain after rib fractures, and herpes zoster neuralgia in the chest

Cryoprobes for various
nerve access points:

Cryoprobe for procedures performed from the thoracoscopic approach, thoracotomy, sternotomy during surgery. The probe has a golden freezing part perfectly adapted to the location of the nerve.
Cryoprobe for ultrasound-guided precutaneous cryoanalgesia before or after surgeries.
Cryoprobes

Precision

The working part of the probe is adapted to the shape and size of the nerves.

Use

Ideal for VATS, thoracotomy, sternotomy and open surgery.

Safety

Hits the target. It freezes only where we want.

Ergonomics

The lightest and thinnest probe, without the need to bend, allows you to freely perform even a dozen or so freezing operations.

Cryoanalgesia PECTUS

Mechanism of Cryoanalgesia

Formation of an ice zone
nerve damage at the axonal level

conduction block → reduction of pain
Temporary nerve damage
reversible process → spontaneous regeneration occurs
Changes in the myelin sheath
intact basement membrane - potential for full regeneration
Blockade of sensory function
temporary damage to nerve fibers
temporary loss of pain conduction
return of physiological function after axonal regeneration
Autoimmune effect
elimination of pathological receptor sites
reduced risk of pain conversion to a neuropathic form
reduced risk of neuroma formation
NERVE STRUCTURE
MECHANISM OF CRYOANALGESIA

NERVE FIBER REGENERATION PROCESS
FULL NERVE REGENERATION

Applications of PECTUS Cryoanalgesia

Advantages of the A-30/300/PEA/R/RF Cryoprobe

Anatomical bend of the probe's freezing tip (Golden Tip).

No need to bend the probe to get the right point of contact with the nerve

A precisely controlled freezing zone, limited to the gold-plated tip of the probe, ensures the safety of the procedure and protects adjacent tissues, including the lung and heart, from unintentional contact.

Probe diameter – only 3 mm.

Possibility of inserting the probe through a small incision, without the need for a trocar use (trocarless procerdure), in order to simplify the procedure and reduce the risk of injury.

Ergonomic design of the probe handle.

Starting the freezing procedure and ending the defrosting sequence in just a few seconds.

Precise control of the freezing zone and minimization of the risk of allergic reactions, thanks to the use of a gold layer at the freezing end of the probe and the elimination of insulators.

Possibility of supplying with medical gases: N₂O or CO₂.
