R&D Department
The R&D department of METRUM CRYOFLEX works on sustaining development and creating medical products in such areas as cryosurgery, cryotherapy, lymphatic massage, ozone therapy and laser medicine. Our interdisciplinary team of specialist (medical doctors, laser engineers, cryogenic engineers, software engineers mechanics, electronics) are focused on delivering modern technological solutions to doctors and their patients. Our most recent products which already gained recognition are CRYO-S ® Electric II and CRYO-S ® Painless for pain management procedures, diode lasers SALSA URO series for enucleation and vaporization of prostate gland and diode lasers SWING series for endoscopic and robotic surgery.
International patents
We constantly investigate new ways of improving our devices’ parameters such as cooling medium and energy consumption, as well as its dimensions, weight and costs. Thanks to cooperation with many doctors from different countries and best Polish universities we hope to introduce in the near future new treatment methods and technological solutions in such areas as tumor treatment.
We are also a beneficiary of the international European Union program “The Innovative Economy Operational Programme”, which helped us launch new laser technologies on the medical market.
Over the last 4 years we have allocated over 2 million Euro in various R&D programs. Our technologies are protected with several international patents.
